Using organic posts, Spark Ads are a great way to promote not only events or products, but also your TikTok page and content, expanding their potential uses. They allow brands to move away from purely promotional content and deliver authentic, personal insights.
It is important not to use videos that are ambiguous, overly specific, or taken out of context, as this may undermine the campaign’s objectives. Video resolution, format, and length should also be adapted to the campaign goals.
How to Generate a Spark Ads Code on TikTok
To promote organic posts in the TikTok feed, you need a TikTok Spark Ads Code. The following steps illustrate how to generate this code:
First, make sure that Ad Settings are enabled for your TikTok account. In your TikTok profile, click the Menu in the top right and select Creator Tools.


Once TikTok Ad Settings are enabled, select the post you want to promote from your TikTok posts. Open the post and click the Menu on the right-hand side. In the bottom row, look for Ad Settings.

Activate TikTok Ad Authorization in the TikTok Ad Settings and agree to the TikTok Terms of Service.

Now you can generate the TikTok Spark Ads Code. First, click Generate Code and then select the time period for which your TikTok Spark Ads Code should be valid.
